    “The 2nd Shanghai International Congress on Orthopedics” (Orthopedics Shanghai 2008) will be held on June 20—22, 2008 at Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. The congress sincerely wishes for your support and participation.

At first, we would like to convey our sincere appreciation to over 1000 colleagues and friends who attended the “1st Shanghai International Congress on Orthopedics”. Due to their great support, we successfully held the said congress at such a high level with great features. The upcoming Orthopedics Shanghai 2008 will be held with the same enthusiasm and aim having high level and efficient exchanges and publicize new technique and theories in orthopedic field. The basics would be clinical medicine exchanging the scientific knowledge to the general public conducting conferences with the help of domestic and overseas orthopedic doctors with due co-operation from the eastern and western regions of our country. The science of orthopedics has been analyzed and been a great help in the overall development of the society. Presidential Honored Lecturers provided considerable insight for doctors and professors who worked in orthopedic clinic and research area.

This congress will revolve in orthopedic basics and every respects of clinical medicine. Separate Lecture Teams consisting of eminent doctors and specialists would be exchanging ideas and their experiences on different subjects guiding and demonstrating operational techniques, display of template on different subjects, exhibit modern equipment, apparatus, medicine, publication and video & audio information on site. Orthopedic workshop would be high lighted at this congress and variety of workshops will be organized to enable participants to obtain different styles, skills, ideas in the field of operations.

After the successful completion of “Orthopedics Shanghai 2007”, we also received letters of praise from domestic and overseas professors. The letters gave our congress a positive praise with many hopes & good suggestions. They suggested and encouraged us to keep the main style and to hold “Shanghai International Congress on Orthopedics” annually.
